Dance Classes for Ages 2-5 in Tenafly, NJ

Children ages 2 to 5 can take five REvBabies preschool classes at RDA: Tiny Twos (ages 2–3), Tiny Tots (ages 3–5), Tiny Tumblers (ages 3–5), Tots Hops (ages 3–5) and Jazzerinas (ages 4–6), plus the Wiggles and Giggles parent and me class for our very youngest. Every class builds coordination and confidence through themed, prop-filled routines designed for the youngest dancers in New Jersey.

Preschool classes are kept short and engaging to match a young child's attention span, with themed activities that keep dancers moving and smiling from start to finish. Exact class lengths are listed in the schedule below.

Starting dance between ages 2 and 5 builds far more than technique. At this age, class is where children develop coordination, balance, and body awareness through play, long before formal training begins.

Preschool dance also builds the skills that carry into kindergarten and beyond. Dancers practice following directions, taking turns, waiting for their moment, and performing in front of others. Those early wins build confidence that shows up in the classroom and on the playground.
