Studio Policies

The studio policies every Revolution Dance Academy family agrees to at registration.

Respect all instructors, staff, and fellow students.

RDA is a DRAMA FREE studio. All problems regarding students or parents should be addressed solely with the directors.

Attendance is crucial for progress in dance training. Excessive absences may result in dismissal from certain classes or performance opportunities.

Please arrive for class on-time. Arriving late is disruptive to the instructor and the other students.

Any concerns or issues should be addressed with studio management in a respectful and timely manner.

The studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances, in which case efforts will be made to provide alternative arrangements.

Wear appropriate dance attire and footwear as specified by the studio. No outside shoes inside the dance studio space.

Cell phones are not permitted in the classroom.

Maintain a positive attitude and be supportive of classmates.

Keep the studio and dressing rooms clean and tidy.

Notify the studio in advance if unable to attend a class or rehearsal.

RDA does not issue refunds for students who drop classes throughout the year.

Parents/guardians are responsible for reading and understanding all studio policies and procedures.

Registration and Payment

Registration secures your dancer's spot for the season. Tuition is billed on a set schedule, and families across Bergen County can manage payments through their unique Jackrabbit parent portal.

Attendance and Make-Ups

Consistent attendance helps dancers progress and prepares classes for well-rounded training and for the year-end recital. RDA outlines its make-up class policy here so families know their options when an absence happens.

Notify the studio before class if your dancer will be absent.

Make-up classes must be scheduled and taken within the same season.

Uniform Policy

How the uniform policy works in class, alongside the requirements listed on our Uniforms and Dress Code page.

All students are required to wear the designated studio uniform during classes and rehearsals.

Uniform requirements will vary depending on the style of dance and level of the class.

Uniform information is posted on our Uniforms and Dress Code page.

Hair should be neatly pulled back away from the face.

Jewelry and accessories should be kept to a minimum and must not interfere with movement.

Students who repeatedly fail to comply with the uniform policy may be asked to sit out of class until the issue is resolved.
