Taylor Dukeman
Taylor Dukeman is a freelance artist based in New York City. She began her dance career young and continued to study through college, receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in dance performance and choreography from East Carolina University in 2021.
Background and Training
While in school, she performed works by Merce Cunningham, Andrea Guajardo of Ballet Nepantla, Mary Grace McNally, Teal Darkenwald and several others. In addition, Taylor was able to train at Trinity Laban in 2019, where she worked with Natalia Iwaniec, a Gaga instructor for Ohad Naharin, as well as Bruno Guillore, the associate artistic director of Hofesh Shechter Company.
Since graduating, she has performed in various freelance projects throughout New York, including pieces with Emily Greenwell's company, CLOUDE, Alexa Luke, and Mackenzie Simons. A strong passion for choreography has remained at the center of her love for the art form.
She has been an instructor in Northern Virginia, and is currently working with students throughout the tristate area.
